For over a century, the Rowayton Civic Association has served as a steward of community life in Rowayton, Connecticut. Founded in 1911, the RCA is a volunteer-led, nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching our village's cultural, recreational, and environmental fabric.
The mission of the RCA is to enrich the lives of Rowayton residents and neighbors. We work to preserve open space, advocate for public access to the waterfront, host local events, and support neighborhood initiatives.
All residents and property owners of voting age in the District are automatically members of the Association. The annual meeting of members is held each January. The members of the Board are elected to four-year terms, meeting monthly to coordinate stewardship, outreach, and events.
